Chris is a tall, energetic lad with an appetite for all things creative! He has worked in web and software design and development for over 7 years. Chris joined Semantic in February 2006 after previously working as a web and IT support co-ordinator, for a busy software company based in Eastleigh.
He studied and qualified in GNVQ Advanced IT and Communications at Eastleigh College and is also a Sun (UNIX) Certified Systems Administrator. More recently he also qualified as a Sound Engineer after studying with City & Guilds in Sound and Music Technology, at Level 4.
Chris has 2 big passions in life - Music and Movies. He loves all kinds of music and was a DJ for over 4 years. You can still find him mixing Progressive Trance, Hard House and Funky House at the odd party now and again and he even dabbles in music production in his small home studio. His music idol is the producer/DJ Ferry Corsten.
Movies are his other weakness. He enjoys watching action, sci-fi, adventure, horror, chiller flicks and comedies; anything really! He regularly visits the cinema and admits to having a wall of DVDs at home. His all-time favourite movie is "Back to the Future."
His other interests include photography, good food, sightseeing and Ben & Jerry's "Phish Food" ice-cream! Yum!
Chris' greatest achievement was CMP Radio - an original online radio station that gave anyone the chance to broadcast their own radio show, from the comfort of their own home. CMP Radio was the brainchild of Chris and his brother Dave - who is a commercial radio presenter and producer by day - and it ran for over 2 years, coming to a sad closure in December 2004. During its time on air it changed the lives of many people around the world, who got the chance to shine without having to prove themselves first. Chris made some fantastic, close friends while running the project and was thrilled when CMP was featured on the BBC!
Phew! If that's not enough, he also somehow finds time to develop and sell his own radio/dj automation and playout software, from his personal web site: http://www.chrismoses.co.uk/.
