Neil is Semantic's newest addition (January 2008). His friendly and positive manner went a long way in helping him to survive the initial trial month and fortunately we didn't scare him off either!
Initially from Windsor, Neil moved further south to study Chemistry at the University of Southampton, however he discovered web design was much more his thing during the second year. He had already been designing basic club and society websites for several years previously however it was his Uncle that really kick-started the interest in pursuing web design as a career - a request for a new site to launch his business.
Since then he has worked hard on developing his coding and design skills and has transferred to study Computing with the Open University. He is thoroughly enjoying the work at Semantic and is frequently picking up tips from Chris and Mike!
Neil's other interests include swimming, lifesaving, sailing, photography, theme parks, playing the keyboard and skiing (although he'd love to be able to go more often!). In fact he is a fully qualified Swimming Instructor and manages to fit in teaching adults and children of all ages at two local pools when not working at Semantic HQ!
You can be sure that all of Neil's sailing trips and other outings will be photographed and appear online shortly after - his huge Flickr photostream is currently home to over 12,000 pictures!
Unfortunately Neil still needs to do a fair bit of work to raise his Unreal Tournament ranking at lunchtimes - he's even worse than Mike!
